DAY 01 Mountain villages and the old caravan road
Leave Marrakech for the High Atlas, pausing for views and village scenery before reaching the southern side of the mountains.
DAY 02 Kasbahs and the road of a thousand kasbahs
Explore Ait Ben Haddou, then continue through Ouarzazate toward Skoura or the Dades region.
DAY 03 Dades and Todra landscapes
Spend the day among valley roads, rock formations and gorge scenery, with the route shaped around walking comfort and timing.
DAY 04 To the dunes of Merzouga
Travel east through oasis towns to Merzouga for your planned desert arrival, camp transfer or dune-side accommodation.
DAY 05 A fuller Sahara day
Use a second desert day for sunrise, local villages, seasonal lake views or a quiet afternoon before sunset.
DAY 06 Draa Valley south road
Leave Merzouga and follow southern routes toward the Draa Valley, staying near palms and adobe villages.
DAY 07 Return to Marrakech
Cross back over the High Atlas to Marrakech, keeping the final evening free rather than planning a same-day flight.
